With nearly 100,000 lifetime members, CASA in Action is the Mid-Atlantic region's largest electoral organization fighting for immigrant rights.  Since 2010, we have fought for immigration reform and to elect legislators in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia who will stand with our members.

Fighting for a robust economy and good-paying jobs with benefits
Championing for affordable and accessible health care
Advocating for quality and affordable education
Leading immigration reform that protects DREAMers

CASA in Action's community organizing and advocacy campaigns include:

  • Passage of statewide driver’s license access for immigrants

  • Local campaigns to address police/ICE collaboration

  • Mobilizing the community to engage in actions in DC

  • Community Self-Defense: with fear of deportation assuming center stage, particularly in light of notorious ICE raid activity, each body of our work incorporates:

    • Know Your Rights training

    • Bystander trainings

    • Periodic community surveys to determine ICE/police collaborative practices

    • Raid response self-protection groups

CASA in Action, a 501(c)(4) organization, is the foremost Latino and immigrant organization in the Mid-Atlantic region and a national leader in supporting immigrant families and ensuring that all individuals have the core supports necessary for full participation in society. CASA in Action and CASA in Action PAC endorse candidates that advance its membership’s priorities and facilitates greater engagement of Latinos and voters of color in elections. With nearly 100,000 members, CASA in Action is an individual membership organization of low-income immigrants.  Donations to CASA in Action are not tax-deductible.
